Well, just take a look around everywhere, you will find a number phone is walking on the road with Smartphone or tablets in their hand. These are people who resolve problems mostly walking on the road or surfing on their Smartphone. A generation ahead of time in thoughts and technology that is what we call millennial.

What about their passions and habits? Well, on the best passion they have is to drive on the speedy cars. The millennial generations or rather the Gen Y loves to drive, but with the rising prices on cars we have been witnessing a loss of interest.

Who are the millennial actually? Gen Y consumers – those born between 1977 and 1994. These people are not showing interest on those cars which is not able to hold water nor has a cup holder. They check out the new car prices and make a swift decision on the cars with developed accessories.

Well, according to the data based up on, Deloitte’s, the survey says survey responses from 23,000 consumers across 19 countries, including 2,000 and more U.S. consumers. Among them 677 from Gen Y, alone represents 80 million customers.

Another exciting find by the Deloitte’s suggests that the millennial generation wants to stay behind their wheels of their own automobiles. Over 60 percent among them plan to buy their cars in the upcoming three years and 23 percent of them will buy the car by 2015.

Most of the respondents, say around 75 percent says that the technology in their car should be far more than advanced. It should be able to diagnose the vehicles on the road. Half of the population wants their car connected to the internet and other multiple entertainment options according to the Reuters.

29 percent of the Gen Y people will give up their cars and other traditional mobility options like car-sharing or car-pooling and 8 percent do not expect to buy or lease a car even in their life.

Most of the millennial population does show a clear interest in the vehicles and have specific ideas on the car they like to but for them. Well, these are mere some general ideas and thoughts, but with the economic environment the trend in millennial might keep on changing.
