When you make a new car search with the dealers in your locality, you think how you will find the ideal car. But what do you actually need in your new car. You need to take a test drive and find out if the car amenities suit you or not.

1. Do not rush for a test drive and take out ample of time as you are going to make a large investment buying that car. Usually a test drive done in hurry cannot give you the real experience. Take at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete the test drive.
2. It is important to check the interior as well as exterior thoroughly when you drive. You should choose the non-peak hours to avoid heavy traffics during the drive.
3. You must take a friend or a family member with you who knows a lot about cars. As he or she can help you to point out the good and bad things about the car which you miss to observe.
4. When you drive the car you can test its ability on the road, but when it stands observe it from every angle to find out if its appealing. If the car build is not up to your expectation give up on it.
